French Chateaux

The French Chateaux commonly found in the Loire Valley and The Manor House often seen in Normandy, welcome their guests with gated entries and decorative fountains.   Brick and plaster are used today to authenticate the exterior appearance. The outer facade can also be made of limestone, which is a material also found on the floors and in the fireplaces of the homes.  Plaster is often the wall surface utilized throughout the interior.  Slate roofs are soaring; featuring tall pitches.  Individual rooms are embellished with antique timbers and doors.
