English Manor Style

The English Manor describes a style that was representative of 18th and 19th century architecture that is more informal and found in the country’s outlying areas.  Features commonly seen in these types of homes are Gothic entries, heavy wood ballisters, antique brick exteriors, timbered ceilings, antique slate roofs, and leaded glass windows. Formal gardens were also commonly found with this style of architecture; replete with wooden trellises surrounded by lush floral vegetation.
